Formerly an assistant with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Mario Simmons is admitted to practice in New York State as well as Federal Court in both the Eastern and Southern Districts. As a prosecutor, he prosecuted numerous criminal cases, with several of them resulting in both bench and jury verdicts. He also prosecuted white-collar crimes including welfare fraud. Mario now manages cases from inception through trial with a focus in the areas of medical malpractice, lead exposure, nursing home litigation as well as general liability. He has also successfully argued at the Appellate level before the First Department.

Mario attended undergraduate school at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. He graduated from Pace School of Law in White Plains, New York. Active in his community, he is currently a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and has served as an officer on the Executive Board of the Lenox Elementary School PTA in Baldwin, Long Island. Additionally, he serves as chairman of numerous committees within the organization. Mario has also coached his daughter’s soccer team with the Baldwin Eagles.
