Elena Lanza joined the Firm in 1991 and became a partner in 1999. Elena focuses her practice in the defense of complex medical malpractice, wrongful death, and general negligence cases. She defends a number of nursing home clients in Brooklyn, Queens, and on Long Island in cases involving Public Health Law claims. Elena recently lectured at a Nursing Home Litigation seminar sponsored by the firm and attended by nursing home clients and insurance carriers. Elena handles all phases of litigation.

Elena was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in March 1990.  She is admitted in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  She is a Member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and is a Director of the Trial Lawyers Association of Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Elena has lectured in-house and to physicians, nurses and other health care providers concerning medical/legal issues.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Fordham University in 1986.  In 1989, Elena received her Juris Doctor Degree from Pace Law School.  While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Gerard Delaney of the New York State Supreme Court in Westchester County.  She began her career practicing in the field of Matrimonial and Family Law litigation.  

Elena is also of counsel to the law firm of Redmond, Pollio, & Case in Garden City, New York, to act as special litigation counsel.
