Ingrid M. Rodriguez
Ingrid received a Regents Diploma from Sacred Heart Academy in 1994, a Bachelors of Art from New York University in 1999 and a Juris Doctorate from City University of New York School of Law in 2004. She is admitted to practice in New York and Federal Court. She is an associate attorney with this firm.
She held a certification as a New York State Emergency Medical Technician Critical Care and served with a volunteer fire department for eight years. She primarily works on cases involving the defense of personal injury and malpractice actions. She has defended several Fire Departments on Long Island and Volunteer Ambulance Corps including but not limited to actions brought against emergency medical technicians for malpractice. For many years, she has litigated and defended nursing home facilities from actions involving Public Health Law Violation, negligence and malpractice.
Ingrid is certified as a Part 36 New York State Fiduciary. She has served as a Court appointed Court Evaluator, Guardian, and “Attorney for Incapacitated Person” in Article 81 incompetency proceedings. She has brought Article 81 on behalf of several medical facilities. She has also served in various roles as a Court appointed “Guardian ad Litem” in Surrogate’s proceedings.
She is bilingual and speaks Spanish. She is serving the community by representing the immigration needs of indigent clients who are seeking Asylum and Temporary Protected Status.
